Nate turned 1 year old on the 1st of this month. Can you believe it?
You know what he got for his birthday?
His first cold and ear infection!
While I am grateful that we got through a whole year without him getting sick, I was hoping to go even longer. Greedy, aren't I?
Even while sick, he has only had one day where his ailment effected his mood.
While snot runs from his cute little nose, he has a smile on his face.
While his eyes are watering and he can't breathe, he laughs.
This kid KILLS me with his outrageously happy demeanor.
I think this kid can teach me A LOT.
Ok..he doesn't ALWAYS have that happy demeanor.
We found out he has one achilles heel:
Cake pisses him off. Big time.
We had 2 different parties for him while back in Michigan...and both times, he started screaming when the cake came out. He wanted nothing to do with it. NOTHING.

One already? Jesus! Time flies for sure. And that is definitely a "fuck cake" kind of look, which, whose kid IS he anyway? No one hates cake!
It's just so funny. Cake pisses him off. Hopefully it will serve him well in the future, or he gets over it. Happy birthday again, little guy. Hope you are feeling better soon.
Poor Nater Tater! I'm glad he was in good spirits except for hating the cake. He is so CUTE!!! I want to see more pix!

LOL - scared of cake? The only part of me that's scared of cake is my thighs & arse.
