Anyone still out there??

Sorry, it's been so long since the last post. I will blame it on Facebook. I don't think a more addictive thing has been invented since chocolate. Seriously...I need to join a 12 step program to stop. (I bet I can find one on Facebook. *Snicker*)

SO,WHAT HAS BEEN GOING ON? YOU ASK...


~I have been working, FULL TIME, no less for almost 2 months now. Let me tell you, it's kicking my ass.
2 parents, both with full time jobs, and no daycare = T I R E D! Tired, but I do feel very lucky to not have to put Nate in daycare. Although, I do think he might benefit from the interaction with other kids.

Speaking of tired...does anyone have any good make up tips for getting rid of the dark dark dark circles under eyes? Normal concealers just aren't doing the trick anymore.

~Can you believe it, Nate knows his alphabet and can count to 10 now. Check out the video for proof!

~My mom has not been doing well. I called her the other day, and ended up calling my brother and SIL to pick her up and take her to the ER. I won't get into the details here, but she is doing a little better now. It is so scary to have stuff like this going on when you are on the other side of the country.


I guess that is all I can come up with right now.

Sorry, I have been so horrible with updating here. (Ha! Anyone still reading??)

Is it just ME?

It has been brought to my attention, on more than one occasion, that I get upset a bit too easily...by little things. And by little things, I mean things like people cutting in line, or cutting you off on the freeway, not holding a door open for someone behind them if the person behind them have their hands full...little things.

My question is this...am I too sensitive, or should more people get their noses out of joint by peoples little rudnesses? (is that a word?) Do most people even NOTICE these things, or do they have a built in 'Ignore' response that I wasn't born with?
In all honesty, I don't want to get upset by these things. I don't. They just bug me. A LOT.
Have I just worked with the public too long?
A few days ago I went to the grocery store and while being rang up, another 'customer' walked up behind me from out of the blue and demanded to know where all of the Easter candy that was on display earlier had been moved. She didn't even ask politely. It was like she thought that this particular cashier had moved the whole display on purpose, just to confuse her. Now, being that it was the day before Easter, it couldn't be that they had sold out of candy or anything. When the poor employee didn't know the answer to her question she got even more bitchy.
My head almost exploded.
My transaction was over, so while walking away I say very loudly "You need to get a grip and calm the hell down woman."
OMG, that made me feel so much better.
Was that wrong of me?
I am just sick of people feeling like they have the right to walk around and harass the general public because they are having a bad day, and have their asses kissed for being such a prick.

The 2 things that I have noticed more and more of over the past year or so are these:
1) People shopping while on their cell phones. Which is rude enough, but I can get over it. BUT, when they feel the need to ask for help from store employees while carrying on a phone conversation??? OMG. NO. Get off the fucking phone, and then you can ask questions. That is rude to both the employee AND the person they are 'talking' to.
2) You greet/talk to someone, and get ignored. I don't know if they just are being purposely rude, or they are just walking around in that much of a dazed stupor. (and which is worse?)
